The Wait Is Over: The 2026 USLPL Season Is Here
The paddles are ready, the teams are set, and a new season of professional senior pickleball is about to begin.
The 2026 U.S. Legends Pickleball League season officially gets underway with Showdown Week #1, taking place September 9–13 at Match Point Pickleball in Columbus, Ohio. The opening event brings together some of the country’s most talented 50+ and 60+ professional players for five days of high-level competition, teamwork, and excitement.
For the Texas Stars, the start of the season represents the culmination of months of preparation, player evaluations, practices, and hard work. Our organization enters the season with a talented roster, a competitive mindset, and a commitment to representing Texas with pride.
More Than a Team
The Texas Stars were built around a vision of creating an organization that is both competitive and respected. Every player brings experience, determination, and a passion for the game—but our success will be measured by more than wins and losses.
We want to compete at the highest level while demonstrating teamwork, sportsmanship, professionalism, and respect for our opponents. Those values are at the heart of the Texas Stars organization and will guide us throughout the season.
The Road to the Championship
The 2026 USLPL season features four Showdown Weeks in four different states before the league returns to Columbus for Championship Weekend:
- September 9–13: Columbus, Ohio
- October 7–11: St. Louis, Missouri
- December 9–13: Macon, Georgia
- January 6–10, 2027: Virginia
- January 27–31, 2027: Championship Weekend in Columbus, Ohio
Each event will provide a new challenge as the league’s teams battle for position and work toward earning the opportunity to compete for a championship.
Where Legends Rise
The U.S. Legends Pickleball League gives accomplished senior professional players a national stage on which to showcase their talent. It also demonstrates that elite competition, athletic growth, and a passion for sports do not have an expiration date.
The league’s “Where Legends Rise” message perfectly captures what this season represents. These athletes bring years of experience, competitive drive, and dedication to every point—and they are ready to show fans just how exciting senior professional pickleball can be.
