Gerald Alvarado was born and raised in New York City. At a young age, his father had him play tennis, soccer, and basketball just to keep his energy contained and keep him from driving his mother crazy.
Gerald later moved to Tampa, Florida, where God blessed him with his two beautiful daughters, Yasleen and Brynn.
In 2017, the addiction began: Gerald discovered pickleball. He also met his beautiful fiancée, Roseann, while playing in a tournament. They both got hooked on the game and began traveling throughout the United States to play in pickleball tournaments and meet great people. Gerald's daughters also play and love the game.
Gerald considers it a blessing to be able to play, travel, and enjoy the life God has given them. He hopes they can continue doing it for many more years and looks forward to watching his daughters grow, with the hope that one day they will all play pickleball tournaments together.
