
Jane Ayala is originally from Brazil and has lived in Texas for 24 years. She is married to Victor, and they have two amazing boys. She played Division III college tennis and volleyball before taking a break from competition to start a family and become a physician. She is one of the owners of her private practice, Rheumatology Associates of South Texas.
Since discovering pickleball in 2021, Jane has been working on improving her skills while having tons of fun. She has collected wins and medals in PPA and MiLP events, as well as the Texas Senior Pro League.
Besides playing pickleball, Jane is a co-founder and co-director of the Dink for a Cure tournament, which has benefited the Arthritis Foundation since 2022. She is also one of the founders of Rheum Therapeutics, which specializes in products designed to decrease pain.
Jane is super excited to play for the Texas Stars this year and spread joy on and off the courts.
