Kacy Roth grew up in Sedalia, Colorado, as the youngest of four children in a home filled with activity and sports. She and her siblings were always taught to play their hardest no matter the outcome. Character came first, achievement second.
Kacy's sport growing up was soccer, including traditional school soccer and year-round competitive soccer, both indoor and outdoor. If it was soccer, she played it.
At 20, Kacy moved to Joplin, Missouri, and began her family. Her childhood lessons translated directly into her parenting. Being the mom of three amazing boys has been her greatest adventure and the thing she is most proud of. It was just the four of them, and everything they did became two vs. two. Once, a dropped Gatorade lid even became a two-on-two soccer game in the kitchen.
Kacy loves to compete. She loves the challenge and the excitement. When her kids moved out, she needed to find a sport to fill the vacancy, and pickleball was the perfect fit.
She started playing about five years ago and was hooked: sport, friendship, and tournaments. After playing tournaments for a few years, she was invited to compete in a MiLP tournament and absolutely loved the team atmosphere. After dedicating a year to MiLP events and qualifying for nationals in Dallas, Kacy wanted to continue climbing higher. A new dream was born, along with harder work and more drilling: pro team pickleball.
